The trap rapper Rico Nasty was born Maria Kelly in the Washington, D.C. area. She has released two mixtapes: 2016’s “Sugar Trap” and 2017’s “Tales of Tacobella,” which earned her a reputation as the "cartoon rapper" for lyrics that cited "Blue’s Clues” and “Hey, Arnold!” and “mumble rapper” for focussing less on wordplay and more on melody.
