Get moving at the 2nd Annual Twirl ’N Swirl 5K and celebrate the healing power of the arts. The Family-Friendly Event Unites The Community in Honor of Child Abuse Prevention Month and Benefits The Arts Empowerment Project’s Judge Bill Jones Memorial Scholarship Fund The Arts Empowerment Project, a nonprofit that connects court-involved and at-risk youth to the transformative power of the arts, in conjunction with Charlotte Country Day School, will host Twirl ‘N Swirl 5K and Kids Fun Run, on Saturday, April 7, 2018 at 8:30AM at the Carmel Commons Shopping Center in South Charlotte. The 2nd annual event unites the community in honor of Child Abuse Prevention month and to raise awareness and funds for The Arts Empowerment Project’s Judge Bill Jones Memorial Scholarship Fund, which provides resources for abused and at-risk children to pursue private study, special training or personal advancement in an arts-related field.
