Eddie Montgomery and Troy Gentry were performing in bands together for years. Their collaboration created hits like "Lonely and Gone" and 'She Couldn't Change Me." Despite Troy Gentry's death in 2017, Montgomery continues to tour under the Montgomery Gentry name.
