Owl City is an American electropop musical project by Adam Young. Young started out making music in 2007 in his basement in his hometown of Owatonna, MN, later developing a following through his MySpace profile before being signed to Universal Republic. 'Fireflies' was his first number-one single, reaching the top spot in only 10 weeks. Young's other big single was the summer hit duet called 'Good Time,' a collaboration with Carly Rae Jepsen. He's on tour to support his most recent album, 'The Midsummer Station,' which was just released in late August.
